It all started in 1930 for all I know. People had to have a way of referring to the previous decade and the result was obvious:
the 20's. At that point decades were conveniently labelled for the past, present, and future. Everything was going great,
until now. What are people going to refer to this decade as? I've been thinking about this for a couple of years now and
have a few ideas (see below.) I saw a comedian on Conan the other night call it "the 2000's." That was the first
time I can remember anybody putting a name to it. I had thought of that one too, but I personally don't like it because it's
too cumbersome. It won't sound good on VH1. This site is for people to find out about the problem and to predict and possibly
dictate the moniker for the present decade.

the M's (as in MM, as in roman numerals)
